i feel weird doing a rant post before introducing myself but i want to say this
i hate housing at my university. (though, i hear most have the same problem.) i don't understand how when i have priority status for housing i only have one dorm available to me, the worst one on campus, as an upperclassman. room change has been open for two days. i have seen two rooms pop up, and i swear i've been on this website for at least five hours total in the last two days, one in the shitty building i was forced to assign to and one to a building i have no interest in ever setting foot in. all i want is a single room. ugh.
it doesn't help that my friends as discouraging me from even trying. my roommate said that she checked it "obsessively" last year and couldn't get a room. my best friend said i should just give up and commute. i don't want to commute, but i don't want to share a room with someone either. i might pawn off my login details to people i trust so i can have more eyes on it. i hate it here.
